recent purchase: navy rubber fisherman sandals from creatures of comfort. i wonder how bulky they will look on my feet. and i wonder how long i'll have to wait for it to be warm enough to wear them...
UPDATE: i placed an order online, but then got a call from the store-- they are sold out of my size in navy. i had the option of getting black, but with my pale skin, black is not so flattering. bummer!

Ah, Melissa sandals! I grew up wearing them back in Brazil! They are lovely! The one you've got is the original design revamped. Lovely memories of wearing them with socks! :-D If you go to http://www.melissa.com.br/, you can see some of the new models they offer. Wild way to use plastic.
very cute and what a great price! you'll have to let us know whether they're comfortable. they look heavy to me, but i've never tried them on...
